Application: Think about how Alex behaved when she realized her father wouldn’t be home for her birthday. Explain how you would react if the samething happened to you.
sarah and michael If my dad was not at my birthday party I would be pretty upset. But Alex was mad so she axadently broke the carousel that her dad gave her and the zebra broke off.
Tanner If my dad wasn't home for my birthday I would be mad but I wouldn't be so mad to go off to my room without eating any cake because I really like cake. I also would get mad because my aunts brought me socks and PJs but I wouldn't show it.
If I had the same thing happen to me I would act calm because my dad is a orthopedic seargen and he always gets home late so I would never get to see him when he gets home because I am in bed.
grace In alexe's dream she brok off one of the carousel animals and the carousel fell out the window so she jumped out the window and the little carousel turned into a big one. She got on the zebra rode it and took a ride on each animal in a different way for each. Then she fell asleep on the zebra.

Ria When she relizied that her father would not come on her birthday she got sad. The same thing happed to me because my dad was going out of town and I was sad.
