The purpose of this blog is to communicate with each other about the books we are reading at home and in our class. Our class blog is used to empower student learning and motivate the sharing of ideas. We have our “no excuse” words that students are expected to spell correctly in everything that they do, but please be mindful that many of our words will be spelled phonetically. Please feel free to comment on your child’s post. Happy blogging!

ReplyDeleteI thik thje auther wants readers to uderstand when he tells about Tommy drawing on the sheets is that he doesn't know how much work his parents have to do to get it out. He really wants to be an Artist when he grows up for sure.

ReplyDeleteI THINK THE AUTHOR WANT'S TO TELL US THAT WE SHOULDN'T DRAW ON THE SHEETS. I THINK IT'S NOT GOOD TO DRAW ON THE SHEETS BECAUSE THE PARENTS WILL HAVE TO BUY NEW SHEETS.

DeleteWe agree that you shouldn't draw on your sheets but you know his parents could just wash them very well.

ReplyDeleteI THINK HE WANTS YOU TO UNDERSTAND THAT WHEN TOMMY WAS DRAWING ON THE SHEETS THAT YOU SHOULDN'T DO THAT BECAUSE IT RUINS THE SHEETS AND YOU GET IN TROUBLE.

ReplyDeleteThe author wantsn the reader to know that Tommy loves to draw and drawing on the sheets makes the reader know how much he likes the art. The author also wants the reader to know that you can be any thing you want to be.
