Analysis - Think about the other stories you have recently read in the reading book about families. Compare Julian’s action to other character’s actions in those stories.
GRACE/TEAGAN (we are comparing it to jalapeno bagles) the characters actions are differnt from julians actions because Pablo was sooooo happy in his story and julian is only happy through half the story and mad on the other half.Both of the boys dads give good suggestions in the story.
Joey (I am comparing to carousel)The charecters actions in carousel are difrent from Julians actions. The kids in carousel there actions are com. Julians actions are mean and not nice.
Ria/Dalia We have read the story called Officer Buckle and Gloria. The actions are simmalar to Julian and it is being mad at someone because Julian was mad at Gloria and Officer Buckle was mad at Gloria. Another reasion was that they were both Glorias were being mean.
